How important is your nasal microbiome?

We all know that it’s important to take care of our gut microbiome, but how much has your nasal microbiome featured in your awareness?⁣
⁣
Research shows that dysbiosis (an imbalance of good/bad bacteria) in your nose is associated with increased risk for:⁣
– sinusitis⁣
– bronchitis⁣
– ear infections⁣
– asthma and other allergic respiratory diseases⁣
⁣
Ways to take care of your nose microbiome:⁣
– Fermented foods⁣
– Chewable probiotics⁣
– Walk in the woods⁣
– Avoid things that harm your nose microbiome like spray products that have antimicrobial action or synthetic chemicals, (even cleaning products like laundry detergents literally get up your nose). ⁣
– Avoid sugars and refined carbohydrates⁣
